Apparently, it could happen. Personally, I'm not in favor of it. While it might help get Obama re-elected, it might also ensure enough Republican turnout to enable the GOP to hold onto the House, and flip the Senate.
On the other hand, if it's the only way to ensure Democratic leverage in Washington after next year ... well, then, run, Ron, run.
