OWS, for all of its pluses, is more bent on protesting the system than truly challenging it. Teanderthals, for all of their minuses, understand the value of working within the system to change it. Will OWS learn this in time to make a difference next year? That's the question The New Yorker raises.
I wish I could be more certain than I am now that the answer was "Yes."
